The benefit of getting targeted traffic is that you don’t labour to persuade an already attracted customer. Why? His/her interest has already an interested person.

The Quality of Your Articles Matters

Success in article marketing necessitates you to submit quality articles. Quality articles are those that provide useful information to your readers. These are articles that you write well and add value to the internet fraternity. When you publish quality articles, you stand a high chance of building positive perceptions in the minds of your readers. And when you do, in turn, it helps you to create your credibility. Search engines are most of the time scanning the internet in search of fresh, unique content. Even your readers can return to your website if you offer new original content. Perseverance is another critical factor in article marketing. I’ve come across article marketers, who write so many articles at the start and go in recess only to wake up again after one year. That’s not good. It does not help at all to grow your business. Success is never achieved only through quality and quantity, but it’s also through persistence. Write your articles consistently, based on your plan, to continue attracting your targeted audience to your website and to retain your existing customers.

The Length of Your Articles is Important

This aspect matters a lot in article marketing. Your blog posts should be of a reasonable length, say 800 words. Search engines rank your article based on the word count (number of words in a specific area), keyword density (total number of keywords compared to the total number of words in your article), keyword prominence (relevancy of a keyword in the specific area) and keyword frequency (number of times a keyword appears in a particular area). Long articles tend to rank higher in search engines.

Last but not least, don’t be in a hurry to get quick returns. What you need to understand is that it takes some time for your articles to get good rankings. Your success in article marketing will depend mainly on the points mentioned above.
