One day, I received a customer who asked me to design products that depicted the image of the equator. He suggested to me products like keychains, coat tags and earrings. I created them and even produced samples from our local wood. He took them to his shop, located where the equator crosses, along Kampala – Masaka road. The equator design keyholder is what visitors liked most.
Since then, we have received repeat business from this customer because he sells every item he takes. Tourists like these keyholders because they use them as souvenirs. Secondly, they also take them to their friends back home as gifts.
What’s the Equator Design Key Holder?
The equator design keyholder is a keychain which we created in the image of the landmark found at the equator at Kayabwe in Mpigi district, 72 km from Kampala city. This landmark symbolises the Uganda Equator, an imaginary line that divides the earth’s surface into northern and southern hemispheres. It attracts many visitors who come to Uganda.
The equator design key holder is one of the laser-cut products we offer. We make it in two variations. There is one where we engrave but maintain the keychain solid without any hole. There is also where we cut out the actual image of the equator.
Why Do Tourists Love the Equator Design Key Holder?
As already said, this equator design keyholder is a favourite to visitors. These are mainly visitors who come to Uganda as tourists. When they go to the equator imaginary line, they consider it a right item of remembrance.
Secondly, when they return to their countries, they feel good to go with something to give out to their friends back home. And of course, the equator design keyholder is something simple but carries a lot of value. Besides, one can move with it freely.
Conclusion
There are many ideas you can come up with, and Goleza Designers supports you to turn them into profitable businesses. For example, the equator design keyholder is a product that we produce for one of our clients, who is also operating a company at the equator.
